Our first step was to attempt to have the defamatory information removed from search engine results by submitting legal requests.
However, these requests were mainly rejected within the UAE but removed from the UK. While this was an improvement, it does not benefit our client overseas. Considering this, he instructed DigitalOx to initiate Online Reputation Management to minimise the visibility of negative content associated with my client's name.
The Result of Our Work
Over the course of four months, our client worked closely with us to suppress the negative content in search results. During this time, we published numerous blog posts, created positively ranked websites, and monitored his brand's search results on a monthly basis.
As a result of our efforts, we were able to push two negative links from his first page of search results down to the second page.
