A significant drop in business can occur from a single negative review or Online article.
Fixing your online reputation can make an enormous difference in the quality and quantity of opportunities that come your way. The consequences of not fixing it can be huge (whether the information is true or not) as negative reviews or Online forums encourage other negative opinions to be aired and pretty soon the situation can start to get out of control.
That’s where we come in – to restore balance and to offer your business the clean slate it deserves.
How do we do it?
At DigitalOx we know that real reputation repair requires a strategic and thoughtful combination of a few key techniques, and the specific mix is determined by an analysis of your company’s search results and reviews. We’ll always provide a free report into the extent of the damage and the exact repair strategies we’ll use, but typically we’ll use a mix of several key techniques, including:
Remove negative content at the source – where it’s malicious or defamatory, the host website should agree to remove the content providing you can give us appropriate proofs of your side of the story. That being said, it doesn’t always work out that way, so we never rely on this alone.
Remove negative content from search results – by law, defamatory, misleading or downright illegal/false information should be removed by the search engines however, once again, there are no guarantees and so again we never rely on this alone.
Add positive content to your online presence – a proven strategy is positive content placement and management, and we advise clients to allow us to purchase or create multiple positive articles in their first few months with us.
Push bad results down in Google – by placing the above positive content on good sites that we have experience of ranking well, we will push the negative links on Google down below the positive. Eventually, we aim for all positive on Page 1 and 2 of Google as we all know no-one searches beyond Page 2, so once negatives are Page 3 and lower they’re rarely found and so rarely cause a problem.
Improve Google business reviews and complaints – we can advise, from our own experience, on your current complaints handling procedure and we can often improve on the written material you provide to your clients and even on your in-house training material. We also offer a service of improving your business reviews online.
Improve Yelp and other online reviews – if people can only see a low star rating they’re not going to use you, so let us help you improve that to repair your business.
How successful is reputation repair from DigitalOx?
We have a higher success rate than other reputation management companies because we keep all our services in-house and use only our own staff based within the UK. We also look carefully at a company’s online profile before we choose whether or not to submit a proposal to them. The harsh reality is, sometimes the probability of correcting a given online problem is simply too low because the damage is too significant – so we have to turn projects down. The company’s we agree to take are only those we believe we can actually help, and within acceptable cost and timescale margins too.
What does it cost?
Every company we speak to receives a tailored proposal and so costs are bespoke depending on the Online profile and the work we’ll need to do.
However, we understand everyone works to a budget, so here are some guidelines to help you with that:
DigitalOx Online Reputation Management Cost examples
Online Review Management
£195 per month upwards depending on number of locations, number of review sites to manage etc. Includes monitoring and legal removal requests for obvious malicious entires.
Basic Online Reputation Management

Complex or International Reputation Management
The same base costs as aggressive reputation management, but additional overhead costs such as in-country resources, translation, and cultural quality control can increase costs by atleast 25%.
What’s your reputation costing you?
It is likely to cost you far less to fix the problem than it is currently costing you to leave it unchecked. Without fixing the problem customers and staff will continue to avoid your business, so turn that corner today and contact us at DigitalOx for your bespoke proposal and quote.
